Tours for the public are closed until it’s safe to visit– here’s your ONLY way to see what’s inside! The stunning BC Children’s Hospital Choices Lottery Grand Prize Home, in South Surrey’s Morgan Creek, is worth $2.8 Million and includes $100,000 of furniture and accessories. I’m thrilled to share my favourite features with you below.
I’ve shared before that BC Children’s Hospital touched my life when I was a patient there as a kid. I love that every BC Children’s Hospital Choices Lottery ticket sold supports research breakthroughs that conquer childhood illnesses. I’m not a huge scratch and win or lotto person, but do buy charity lottery tickets. The prizes are incredible and I love how they support local healthcare programs that could one day help out our friends and family.
This luxurious family home is located at 3409 155A Street, in the upscale Morgan Creek neighbourhood of South Surrey. I was toured around the 6,200 sq. ft. Grand Prize with 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathroom home by Vic from Red Tree Creative Homes.
Anyone who lives in South Surrey will tell you that Morgan Creek is an attractive neighbourhood, with parks, high-end homes, and central location near the best shopping, restaurants and recreation facilities.
I’m impressed with the quiet neighbourhood and dead-end street. This home creates a grand impression with its neutral colours, peaked roofline and striking blue door.
We walk into this modern, cozy front living room/ dining room and are greeted by the fireplace and lounge music. I remark that I feel like I’m entering a high end resort.
Next to the dining room is the WINE WALL. I surveyed my instagram followers about whether they’d like to have a wine wall of their own, and the results were split down the middle. Yes, it’s excessive, but I’d definitely have a wine wall if given the option! I mean, why not?
Next to the wine wall is the spice kitchen, something I’m always impressed with. This one is larger than my kitchen at home.
When we’re allowed to entertain again, this space will be perfect gathering space for friends and family. I love its open concept design, dramatic lighting, modern design and attached eating area.
How light and dramatic is this area? All the mirrors, lights, metal, leather, wood and stone combine to create a luxurious, timeless impression that will impress everyone who visits. I especially love the artfully designed seating areas on each of the landings.
While the rest of the house is jaw-dropping, it’s the master bedroom, walk-in closet and ensuite that REALLY got my following community’s attention. When I first saw it, I remarked “This isn’t normal life– this is something celebrities would have”! It’s indeed a luxurious hotel-like experience with its double shower, marble walls, stand alone bathtub, custom cabinets and vanity. There are 3 more bedrooms on this level for the kids.
Heading downstairs, we see another artfully styled landing and proceed down to see another fantastic entertaining space. There’s a family room with lots of seating, a bar area with sink, and a pool table. Vic shared that what appears to be a mirrored, lit ceiling is actually made of fabric– a ‘stretch ceiling’.
This area would give me no excuses to keep fit and relaxed. It’s large enough for workout equipment and still have space for yoga practice. There’s a large washroom attached, as well as a wooden sauna. How spectacular!
